Life as A Blade of Grass

I have been fighting wars all week.
Days just keep running into each other
Mental exhaustion.
Anger, hurt, sad. Repeat.
“When will it end?”
Yesterday, I realised not until the fire burned everything down.
Standing in the fire I don’t feel like a phoenix.
I’m just another blade of grass on the field of life.
Lost not found.
Consumed for consumption.
Combusting.
Unable to protect and shield all I hold dear.

Rain. Fall, please.
